Biocube Inc., a US biofiltration manufacturer, has announced an agreement to market a new line of products from a German biofilter company, Bioteg GmbH, that treat odors emanating from sewage access holes and system vent pipes. Bioteg's products ‐ the Manhole Biofilter, the Force Main Biofilter, and the Vent Pipe Biofilter ‐ have been used successfully throughout Europe to effectively treat hydrogen sulfide and other waste gases while minimizing operating expenses. Bioteg's filters have an average service life of five years without media replacement.
