Helping Utility Managers Address Tomorrow's Competitive Pressures
This article describes the AWWA Competitive Practices Committee (CPC), whose purpose is to advance and disseminate information and knowledge related to strategic approaches to the management and operation of water utilities. In other words, its purpose is to help utility managers identify and implement the most up‐to‐date management practices. The article lists the committee's most recent activities that include sponsoring professional sessions and workshops and contributions to the M5 Manual, along with current CPC initiatives concerning asset management.
