FIELD TESTING OF PLASTIC AND PLASTIC‐CLAD PIPES
It appears that new plastic formulations are evolving from the labs of chemical houses at an exponential rate. Many of these materials promise possible utility for the transmission of water. Yet, little is known about their weight‐carrying capacity and their long‐term deformation behavior in various trench designs. Here is a report of one step that is being taken to alleviate this condition.
