Since the publication of the committee report, Water‐Distribution Research and Applied Development Needs, in the Jun. 1974 JAWWA, two subcommittees have prepared statements highlighting urgently needed work within two previously defined priority areas. Those statements are included in this article in addition to comments offered by committee members.
