Synthesis and performance of polycarboxylate superplasticizer with ester monomers
Relevant studies have shown that ester monomers improve concrete mud resistance, slump retention, fluidity and so on more obviously. In this paper, a series of polycarboxylate superplasticizer were prepared by using polyglycol maleic anhydride (PGA), phosphoric acid ester of capped amide (PCA), and methoxy polyglycol acrylate (PGMA) as the ester monomers, and end‐vinyl polyethylene ether of polyoxymethylene (EPEG), and acrylic acid (AA) as the main raw materials with the action of initiator. The structures of the target products were characterized by FTIR and GPC, and it was found experimentally that their concrete mud resistance PGA> PGMA> PCA, slump‐proof PCA> PGA> PGMA, and flowability PCA>PGA> PGMA.
