Study of Ground Water Recharge in Santa Clara Valley, Calif., and Its Application to New Jersey
This article discusses the problems of groundwater recharge, and its application in New Jersey, and how it will make a substantial contribution towards increasing the available total water supply in many parts of the state. The article presents a comparison with one of the oldest and largest recharge operations in California, the Santa Clara Valley Water Conservation District (San Jose, California), and demonstrates a number of similarities between the history, operations, and problems encountered in the California project with those encountered in New Jersey.
