This article discusses the Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) required by the 1996 amendments to the Safe Drinking Water Act. Specifically, the article discusses computer‐based report‐writing aids, which will assist utilities in presenting their data. AWWA's CCR Builder, a Web‐based tool, and the National Rural Water Association's (NWRAs) CCR tool are both discussed.
