Fiber‐Glass‐Reinforced Polyesters and Furan Resins for Water‐ and Waste‐Treatment Systems
Fiber‐glass‐reinforced plastics, primarily polyesters, have found wide application in the process industries during the past eighteen years and are now generally accepted as engineering materials of construction in their own right. These materials are relatively new in water‐ and waste‐treatment facilities. However, they are helping to provide a solution to many of the specific corrosion problems found in this area.
