Corporation Stop Retention Capacity of Ductile‐Iron and Gray‐Iron Pipe
The objective of this study was to determine whether the number of threads available in the walls of standard thicknesses of ductile‐iron pipe provide as good corporation stop adherence as those of standard wall thicknesses of gray‐iron pipe. The procedure involved two tests, the hydrostatic pullout test and the hydrostatic cantilever beam shear test.
