Outline of site management after contract signature
The aim is to give a definite code of practice for the preparation of the construction site and the execution of construction work on the site. This chapter explains which objects must be described on the site layout (or layouts for different stages of building erection in the case of large buildings) rationally using the space of the site in all dimensions. This is illustrated with an example figure. Recommendations regarding the level of detail of the technological model of construction as the basis for time scheduling in the management stage are presented. The methods of modelling described in the chapter assure the flexibility and freedom of manipulating resources in the management stage. A two‐level classification of temporary works and facilities is presented as a basis for a cost norms database connected through feedback with the cost planning of temporary works in the stages of design and tendering.
