ALYTAUS RAJONO ČIURLIONIŲ I KAIMO DALIES ŽEMĖS KONSOLIDACIJOS PROJEKTAS ; LAND CONSOLIDATION PROJECT IN ALYTUS DISTRICT ČIURLIONIAI I VILLAGE PART
The aim of the final thesis is to develop land consolidation project in Čiurlioniai I village part, located in Alytus district. 13 owners of 129 land parcels participate in the project. The total area of the territory is 627 hectares. The objectives of the thesis are as follows: 1. To conduct the survey of Alytus district farmers about land consolidation and their owned land parcels; 2. To identify the demand for consolidation projects in Čiurlioniai I village part; 3. Compile a map of land values; 4. Develop land consolidation project. In order to evaluate farmers’ attitude towards consolidation projects, a questionnaire was provided for 55 respondents in Krokialaukis elderate. The data of the survey shows that 35 % know about the projects whereas 25 % are not familiar while the remaining part, i.e. 40 % claim they have heard about the issue analysed. The consolidation project developed is only a theoretical one. Preliminary boundaries of the area were identified on the basis of the data provided on the website www.regia.lt The area includes 129 land parcels, the smallest of which occupies 0.25 ha while the biggest one takes even 50.82 ha. The medium size of the parcel is 4.86 ha. In order to conduct a land consolidation project, the map of land values was compiled without specifying differences of land consumption within the area. Thus, certain discrepancies between values are possible. When designing the map of values, land productivity score, soil type and granulometric composition of surface soil as well as special land and forest consumption conditions, reclamation equipment and their state were evaluated. Having developed the land consolidation project, the medium size of the parcel was 48.23 ha while the economic effect of the project was 225.3 €/ha.
