Research program was designed to determine effects of warm floors on thermal sensations experienced by subjects with normal circulation in lower extremities, and offer suggestions as to desired design temperatures to be used for radiant floor heating systems; psychrometric room was used in study; variance techniques were used to analyze results to determine effect of varying floor temperature on thermal sensation, foot comfort, and mean skin temperature.
