Studies at Kansas State University are described in which floor surface temperatures used were 75 to 100 F with ambient air temperatures from 75 to 80 F; results presented deal with study of college age male and female subjects exposed to floor surface temperature below air temperature for periods of 3 hr while engaged in sedentary activities: air motion in test room was less than 45 fpm throughout occupied space.
