Properties of automatic A12A steel deoxidized with Aluminum
New steel developed is deoxidized only with aluminum and has considerably better mechanical properties than normal A12 steel; improvement of properties is due to reduction in carbon content (by 0.02%), manganese (by 0.05%) and phosphorous (by 0.04%) and by presence of silicon.
