Rammed earth forming apparatus
Abstract This invention relates to a forming apparatus for constructing rammed earth walls. The forming apparatus can climb the wall being formed until the desired height is reached. The climbing is aided by a crane. The forming apparatus can compress loose layers of earth into compacted layers of earth with a compactor that translates along horizontal rails. The forming apparatus described has the mechanical elements required for an electronic control system to operate the entire production cycle. Fig. 1
