RADIOACTIVE CESIUM REMOVAL METHOD AND REMOVAL APPARATUS
[Problem] To provide a method for removing, at a low cost, radioactive cesium from wastes containing radioactive cesium, and a facility therefor. [Solution] A facility (1) for the removal of radioactive cesium, provided with: an incinerator (22) for burning and incinerating combustible wastes which are contaminated with radioactive cesium; a suspension preheater (23) in which cyclones are arranged in a multi-stage state and in which calcium oxide and/or magnesium oxide is formed from a calcium oxide source and/or a magnesium oxide source using the sensible heat of both an exhaust combustion gas (G5) and incineration ash of combustibles (C), the gas (G5) and the incineration ash being discharged from the incinerator (22); a rotary kiln (21) in which an inorganic substance (S) contaminated with radioactive cesium is fired together with calcium oxide and/or magnesium oxide and incineration ash (D3); and recovery units (31,32) for recovering cesium volatilized in the rotary kiln (21).
L'invention concerne un procédé de retrait, à faible coût, de césium radioactif à partir de déchets contenant du césium radioactif, et une installation associée. Une installation (1) pour le retrait de césium radioactif comprend : un incinérateur (22) pour brûler et incinérer des déchets combustibles qui sont contaminés par du césium radioactif ; un préchauffeur en suspension (23) dans lequel des cyclones sont agencés dans un état multi-étage et dans lequel un oxyde de calcium et/ou un oxyde de magnésium est formé à partir d'une source d'oxyde de calcium et/ou d'une source d'oxyde de magnésium à l'aide de la chaleur sensible d'un gaz d'échappement de combustion (G5) et de la cendre d'incinération de combustibles (C), le gaz (C5) et la cendre d'incinération étant déchargés de l'incinérateur (22) ; un four rotatif (21) dans lequel une substance inorganique (S) contaminée par du césium radioactif est enflammée en même temps que l'oxyde de calcium et/ou l'oxyde de magnésium et la cendre d'incinération (D3) ; et des unités de récupération (31, 32) pour récupérer le césium volatilisé dans le four rotatif (21).
