The invention discloses a preparation method of a normal temperature synthesized polycarboxylate superplasticizer. The method comprises the steps of stirring water, unsaturated polyoxyethylene ether and acrylic acid to be dissolved, without heating, putting the mixture to oxidant solution, meanwhile dropwise adding prepared liquid A and liquid B to the solution for 2h, performing heat preservation for 1 to 2h, adding alkali liquor to neutralize the pH value to be 6 to 7, and then supplementing water, so as to obtain a 40 percent polycarboxylate superplasticizer. The liquid A adopts acrylic acid, a chain transfer agent and water, and the liquid B adopts a reducing agent and a reducing catalytic agent. The polycarboxylate superplasticizer obtained through the method is short in cycle and high in water-reducing rate, the performance of the polycarboxylate superplasticizer is equal to that of a water reducing agent produced through heating, and as a heat source is not required, energy consumption is reduced.
