The invention discloses a passive locking device for an urban rail train door system. The passive locking device comprises a screw rod, a nut pin assembly, a supporting sliding channel, a locking block and transmission shifting fork assemblies. The screw rod is mounted on a door system base for bearing a driving mechanism, the nut pin assembly comprises a nut and a rolling pin, and the nut and the screw rod form a screw drive pair. The rolling pin is kept in contact with the supporting sliding channel placed in one side of the screw rod, and the transmission shifting fork assemblies are arranged on the two sides of the nut. The axial movement of the nut on the screw rod is transmitted to a door leaf through the transmission shifting fork assemblies, and the opening or closing action of the door leaf is achieved. The locking block is arranged at the tail end of the supporting sliding channel, a groove is formed in the locking block, and the groove is used for clamping the rolling pin when the closing action of the door leaf is conducted in place.
