The invention discloses an asbestos-polypropylene fiber autoclaved lightweight concrete and preparation method thereof. The preparation method comprises the following steps: a, primarily mixing oleic acid, triethanolamine and water to prepare soluble oil; b, secondarily mixing an aluminum source, a foaming agent and water to prepare an aluminum powder suspension; c, thirdly mixing alkali and water to prepare an alkali solution; d, in the presence of a magnetic field with the magnetic field strength of 0.002-0.003 T, fourthly mixing cement, mineral slag, sand, asbestos, polypropylene fiber, phenolic resin, bentonite, red brick granules, ferroferric oxide and water, adding the soluble oil, the alkali solution and the aluminum powder suspension, fifthly mixing, pouring, and aerating to prepare the asbestos-polypropylene fiberautoclaved lightweight concrete, wherein the aluminum source is aluminum powder or aluminum paste; the foaming agent is one or more of nekal powder, peregal, saponin powder, a paraffin soap and washing powder; alkali is sodium carbonate and/ or borax. A building material made of the asbestos-polypropylene fiber autoclaved lightweight concrete has excellent mechanical strength, density and frost resistance.
