The invention provides a balance weight type portable automobile triangular warning device with fog lamps. The triangular warning device comprises a triangular warning frame, a supporting base, a switch, a power source, three fog lamps, four balance weights and a pair of hinge joint mechanisms, wherein the supporting base is composed of two supporting rods which are fixedly connected in an intersecting mode, and every two balance weights are located at the two ends of each of the two supporting rods respectively; the triangular warning frame is installed on the supporting base through the pair of hinge joint mechanisms, and the three fog lamps are installed on three vertexes of the triangular warning frame respectively; the power source is connected with the fog lamps, and the switch is located on a cable where the power source is connected with the fog lamps. According to the warning device, due to the fact that the fog lamps are arranged on the triangular warning device and the fog lamps have a far penetration distance, when the triangular warning device is located behind an automobile after the automobile breaks down, drivers of travelling automobiles behind can conveniently see the warning device at a long distance, and it is guaranteed that a good warning effect can be achieved when the triangular warning device is used in serious hazy weather.
