The invention relates to an electronic module for a vehicle door handle having a flexible circuit board. The electronic module, in particular for installation in a motor vehicle door handle, is provided with at least one circuit board (1), and the circuit board is provided with the conductive line and is equipped with electronic components, wherein the circuit board (1) is provided with at least one material weakening portion to form a bending zone (3 , 3'), and the material weakening portion of the circuit board is formed by a mateiral removal portion and, in particular, by a milling groove (2, 2') which is more than a half, and, in particular more than two thirds of the circuit board (1 ) thickness (D). Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for manufacturing the vehicle door handle with the electronic module.
