The method comprises steps as follows: bauxite residue slope aggregate and ferric oxide residues are added to a smelting furnace and are smelted at the set temperature in the set smelting period, wherein the mass ratio of the bauxite residue slope aggregate to the ferric oxide residues is (4-6):1; the bauxite residue slope aggregate comprises Al2O3, Fe2O3, SiO2, CaO and MgO, and the mass percent of Al2O3 is 65%-69%; the ferric oxide residues comprise Fe2O3, Fe3O4 and FeO, and the mass percent of Fe2O3 is 51%-54%; the set temperature ranges from 2,300-2,400 DEG C, and the set smelting period is 20-23 h; the smelted initial black corundum abrasive is cooled; the cooled initial black corundum abrasive is sorted, crushed and graded, and the final black corundum abrasive is obtained.
