The invention discloses a self-propelled adjustable variable-cross-section totally-enclosed welding construction platform for steel box beam. The platform comprises bracket platforms arranged at the two sides of the bottom of the steel box beam, and further comprises a truss system, wherein the truss system and the bracket platforms define an enclosed stable space; and the truss system and the steel box beam are in longitudinal mobile connection. The platform is simple in structure and low in weight, is suitable for being produced in factories and being mounted and applied in field. The platform overcomes defects of a traditional welding construction platform, largely reduces the economic investment, is convenient for management, and improves construction efficiency.
