The invention discloses an installing method for a large-tonnage spherical bearing. The installing method includes the following steps that first, bearing pad stone is poured, after the bearing pad stone is maintained to reach the concrete age, the bearing pad stone is ground, and a plurality of reserved spaces are arranged in the bearing pad stone; second, a layer of dry building powder is laid on the bearing pad stone, and the large-tonnage spherical bearing is hoisted to a preset position of the dry building powder layer according to advanced calibration; third, the interiors of the reserved spaces are grouted, and the large-tonnage spherical bearing and the bearing pad stone are fixed. According to the method, the procedures are easy to construct and operate, compared with a conventional method, the number of the construction procedures is small, only the plane position of the bearing needs to be adjusted in the position adjusting process, operating time can be effectively shortened, and work efficiency is improved. The installing method can also guarantee that a lower bearing plate and a pad stone concrete supporting face are closely attached, and the force transmission performance of the bearing and the stress state of the bearing are guaranteed.
