The invention discloses a rotary table and engineering machinery. The rotary table and the engineering machinery are used for reducing stress born on a top plate of the rotary table, so that the phenomenon that the local stress of the rotary table is concentrated is avoided, and further the service life of the engineering machinery is prolonged. The rotary table comprises two main longitudinal beams oppositely arranged, wherein each main longitudinal beam comprises a top plate, a bottom plate and a web plate, the top plate and the bottom plate are arranged in parallel, and the top plate and the bottom plate are connected through the web plate; one or more mounting seats for mounting winches are arranged on each of the web plates, and the mounting surface for mounting the winches of each mounting seat is positioned above the top plate of the main longitudinal beam on which the mounting seat is arranged and parallel with the top plate. According to the rotary table, the mounting seats for mounting the winches are arranged on the web plates, so that the alternate load generated during the operation of the winches is transmitted to the web plates on which the bending stress is smaller, and the stress on the top plate of the rotary table is reduced; in addition, weld lines do not exist between the mounting surfaces and the top plates, and points with mutational cross-section do not exist on the top plates, so that the phenomenon that the local stress of positions at which the winding components are mounted of the top plates are concentrated can be further avoided.
