The invention relates to a novel cement grinding aid. The cement grinding aid is characterized by comprising components in parts by weight as follows: 20-30 parts of triethanolamine, 5-10 parts of sodium thiosulfate, 2-6 parts of aluminum sulfate, 8-10 parts of maleic anhydride, 2-6 parts of ethylene glycol, 6-12 parts of sodium lignosulphonate, 8-12 parts of ethylparaben, 10-15 parts of calcium formate, 1-4 parts of an initiator, 6-10 parts of sodium chloride, 6-8 parts of urea, 2-6 parts of fly ash and 5-10 parts of molasses. The cement grinding aid has the effects of significantly improving the cement grinding efficiency of a mill by 8%-15%, properly improving the early strength of the cement by 2-3 MPa and enhancing the later strength of the cement by 2-4 MPa; all the components cooperate with one another, the adaptability of the grinding aid is improved, so that the grinding aid is applicable to different classes of cement, the usage range is enlarged, the grinding aid effect is greatly improved, the output per machine-hour is also increased, the power consumption is reduced, and the mixing amount is low and is 0.02%-0.06% per ton of cement.
