The invention provides a highly-efficient aliphatic water reducer modified by 2-naphthol waste liquor and a preparation method thereof, belonging to the technical field of 2-naphthol waste liquor in wastewater. The highly-efficient aliphatic water reducer modified by the 2-naphthol waste liquor is prepared from the following raw materials by weight proportion: 110 to 120 parts of sodium sulfite, 490 parts of 2-naphthol waste liquor, 100 parts of acetone and 290 parts of formaldehyde. According to the invention, substances like 2- naphthalenesulfonic acid and sodium sulfate in sodiumnaphthalenesulfonate-filtered waste liquor in 2-naphthol production process are used to modify an aliphatic water reducer, so 2-naphthol waste liquor is reused and is prevented from causing pollution and damage on environments and human bodies; meanwhile, the wastewater does not need any treatment like concentration or other physical and chemical treatments and can be directly recycled, so energy consumption is saved.
