The invention discloses a composite-additive-containing calcium-aluminate-cement-bound aluminum magnesium castable and a preparation method thereof. The high-strength calcium-aluminate-cement-bound aluminum magnesium castable is prepared by using calcium-aluminate cement as a binder, activated alumina and magnesite as main components, and titanium dioxide/boehmite micropowder as a composite additive. By combining the characteristics that the titanium dioxide can accelerate sintering and the boehmite can be converted into high-activity alumina at high temperature, the strength of the aluminum magnesium castable is greatly enhanced. The high-strength calcium-aluminate-cement-bound aluminum magnesium castable has excellent slag permeation resistance and thermal shock resistance, and can be widely used in ladle liners and RH refining furnaces.
