The invention discloses a construction prestress pull rod and a manufacturing method thereof. The construction prestress pull rod is made by processing of round steel and has a U-shaped appearance. The construction prestress pull rod consists of: connection parts, which are provided with connecting threads; and a main body part, which is disposed at one ends of the connection parts, and is processed from the same round steel for processing of the connection parts. Two connection parts are respectively disposed at two ends of the main body part. The manufacturing method of the construction prestress pull rod mainly includes: smelting, hot rolling, blanking, isothermal normalizing, coarse machining, bending processing, two quenching heat treatment, fine machining, flaw detection and warehousing. The construction prestress pull rod provided by the invention has the advantages of moderate manufacturing cost, high mechanical strength, good corrosion resistance, and wide adaptation range.
