The present invention discloses a flame retardant and flexible aerated block and a preparation method therefor. The aerated block is prepared by the following raw materials in parts by weight: 100-120 parts of desert sand, 20-30 parts of ceramic polishing residue, 35-45 parts of ordinary portland cement, 8-10 parts of poultry bone powder, 4-6 parts of waste tire rubber powder, 3-5 parts of white mud for paper making, and the like. According to the present invention, combined use of raw materials such as added silicone microsphere, waste tire rubber powder and rosin calcium can greatly reduce the water absorption of the aerated block, provide the aerated block with outstanding water resistance and not prone to get damp, thereby strengthening the anti-mouldy property. Moreover, the aerated block further has stronger compressive strength and flexural strength, a long service life, a wide application range, and a wide market prospect. According to the present invention, an added complex plasticizer composed of di-isodecyl phthalate, [beta]-diketone and ammonium polyphosphate is combined with an ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer, thereby improving the mechanical property and meanwhile improving aging resistance, processability and flexibility; and the ammonium polyphosphate has an effect in a condensed phase.
