Prestress viscoelastic damper
The invention discloses a prestress viscoelastic damper. The damper comprises two outer steel plates and an intermediate steel plate, the intermediate steel plate is located between the two outer steel plates, the space between each outer steel plate and the intermediate steel plate is filled with a viscoelastic material layer, and the damper is characterized in that each viscoelastic material layer is connected between the corresponding outer steel plate and the intermediate steel plate through vulcanization, and prestress bolts penetrate through the two outer steel plates. A using method of the prestress viscoelastic damper is characterized in that hinge-equipped steel plates are installed at the two sides of the prestress viscoelastic damper, one side of each hinge-equipped steel plate is connected with the corresponding outer steel plate through fillet weld, the other side of each hinge-equipped steel plate is connected with the intermediate steel plate through fillet weld, wherein a viscoelastic damping material layer is made of high damping rubber polymer, the thickness of each outer steel plate is 12 mm, the thickness of the intermediate steel plate is 20 mm, and the prestress bolts apply prestress in the normal direction of the outer steel plate plane through spanners or other tools.
