The invention discloses a preparation method of high-purity cubic zirconia fine particles for an insulating layer of a sapphire furnace. The preparation method is characterized in that during the preparation of high-purity cubic zirconia fine particles, not only is the purity of zirconia ensured, but also the adopted carbonate in-situ generated gas plays a role of crushing zirconia crystals and fine crystal particles are obtained; the made high-purity cubic zirconia fine particles can be applied between a tungsten crucible of a sapphire furnace and a tungsten support, insulating slices, as well as between insulating barrels, the damage due to adhesion produced by crystallization during the production process of sapphire is effectively avoided, the overall production cycle is shortened and the time for subsequent cleaning after tap off is shortened by 50%.
