The invention discloses a technique for manufacturing a steel security door. The technique comprises the following step that all chemical components including, by mass, 1.85%-2.25% of C, 1.5%-2.1% of Mn, 1.8%-2.1% of Si, 0.02%-0.06% of Al, 0.85%-1.2% of Ti, 1.5%-2.4% of Cr, 0.16%-0.26% of Sb, trace amount-0.30% of Nd, 0.16%-0.26% of W, 0.3%-0.5% of V, 0.4%-0.8% of Cu, trace amount-0.015% of Re, 0%-0.025% of P, 0%-0.030% of S and the balance Fe of a steel plate are prepared. According to the technique, energy resources are saved, the quality of heat treatment and the quality of a door body are improved, the production cycle is shortened, production cost and material cost are reduced, and radiation pollution to the environment of a workshop is reduced.
