The invention discloses an excavator main pump flow electric control method and system, and an excavator; the method comprises the following steps: collecting voltage of each control cable; calculating corresponding capacity demands according to the collected voltage, wherein the output flow of a front pump is the maximum value of capacity demands for left walking, lift-arm elevating, lift-arm descending, bucket rod excavating, bucket rod unloading, bucket excavating and bucket unloading, and the output flow of a rear pump is the maximum value of capacity demands for right walking, rotating, lift-arm elevating, bucket rod excavating, bucket rod unloading, and bucket excavating; determining a first and a second electromagnetic proportional valve current according to a direct ratio between the electromagnetic proportional valve current and the main pump output flow. The method and system can reduce the number of pressure sensors in the excavator, thus saving production cost, and realizing excavator electric integration design requirements.
