The present invention provides, for the first time, a new cationic asphalt emulsifier preparation method, dodecyl dimethyl tertiary amine, epichlorohydrin and dimethylamine are used as starting materials for synthesis of the new cationic asphalt emulsifier N-(3-(N ', N'-dimethylamino)-2-hydroxypropyl)-N, N-dimethyl octadecane-ammonium chloride by use of self-catalysis effect of the epichlorohydrin, emulsified asphalt with a milky color can be prepared from the new cationic asphalt emulsifier and matrix asphalt by emulsion process; and finally, according to slurry seal technical standards, the emulsified asphalt as a binder is mixed with a certain color pigments and a stone material in the process and paving, and cured for a certain time to form a specific color colored asphalt pavement, and the technology is colored emulsified asphalt slurry seal technology. The method has the functions of beautifying of road environment, inducing of traffic and traffic management visualization, and the like, and can be used in municipal engineering, landscape roads, park landscape ornamental roads and other places.
