The climbing device comprises two support rods which are arranged symmetrically, ends are arranged on the inner side of each support rod, each end and the corresponding support rod are fixed by welding and sealed, the ends of the support rods are arranged symmetrically, a pedal rod is matched between the two ends which are arranged symmetrically and is rectangular, a supporting seat is arranged at the top end of each support rod, a folding rainshed is arranged between the two supporting seats, an embedding groove is formed in the bottom end of each support rod, and a supporting device is matched in each embedding groove. When the climbing device is in use, the folding rainshed can keep out sunlight and rain and snow, so that sunstroke of staff is avoided, dryness of a maintenance place can be guaranteed, and electric shock is avoided; the climbing device has high structural stability, so that the climbing device is avoided falling apart during use.
