The electrical equipment maintenance climbing device comprises two support frames which are symmetrically arranged, an end is arranged on the inner side of each support rod, a treading rod is matched between two ends which are arranged symmetrically, two moving sleeves are arranged on each treading rod, a reinforcing rod is matched between the moving sleeves of each two adjacent treading rods, a cap portion is arranged at the top of each support rod, a connecting rod is matched between the two cap portions, a sliding groove is formed in the front end face of the connecting rod, a buckling strip is matched on the rear end face of the connecting rod, a threaded section is arranged on the front end face of the buckling strip and penetrates the sliding groove, and a locking nut is matched at one end, penetrating the sliding groove, of the threaded section. When the device is in use, the treading rods are interrelated, so that stressed capability of single treading rod is improved; the device when in use can be buckled on two sides of an object against which the device is abutted through the buckling strip, so that displacement occurring in the process of climbing is avoided.
