The invention relates to a high-adaptability polycarboxylate superplasticizer and a preparation method thereof. The applicable polycarboxylate superplasticizer comprises 200 to 216 parts of deionizedwater, 190 to 200 parts of a polyether macromonomer, 19 to 21 parts of acrylic acid, 1 to 2 parts of a functional monomer, 0.8 to 0.85 part of a chain transfer agent, 0.7 to 0.9 part of an oxidizing initiator, 0.25 to 0.29 part of a reducing initiator and 19 to 20 parts of a neutralizer. Compared with a common polycarboxylate superplasticizer, the superplasticizer has a more complex space structure and steric hindrance, and is more suitable for complex ground materials; meanwhile, functional groups such as phosphate groups and sulfonic groups are introduced, so that the superplasticizer has relatively good slump loss resistance, and the workability and slump loss resistance of concrete are improved.
