The cross-linking aid is added during preparation of the polycarboxylic acid water reducing agent, so that polycarboxylic acid is slightly cross-linked, the space repulsive force of the water reducing agent is improved, the viscosity of cement paste can be effectively reduced, the water reducing agent has better mud resistance, the raw materials for preparing the water reducing agent are easy to obtain, the synthesis preparation method is safe, stable and controllable, and the use cost of the raw materials and the finished product is low.
