The invention discloses a corundum brick for a hazardous waste rotary kiln, which comprises the following components in percentage by mass: 85-90% of corundum, 3-8% of alumina micro powder, 0.1-0.3% of an activating agent and 3-8% of pure calcium aluminate cement. The invention further provides a preparation method of the corundum brick for a hazardous waste rotary kiln. The activating agent is added into the raw materials, so that the fluidity of the mixture is improved. The corundum brick is formed through a vibration table in a pouring forming mode in the later period, the compactness of the corundum brick is improved, the thermal stress of the brick is reduced, cracking is not likely to happen, and the anti-erosion effect is good.
