The invention relates to a large-span pipe truss engineering installation construction method. The method comprises a fixed base, a lifting table, a fixed plate, a driving motor, a support mechanism and a driving mechanism, wherein the lifting table is arranged on the top of the fixed base; the fixed plate is fixedly arranged on the top of the lifting table through bolts; a motor accommodating groove is formed in the top of the fixed plate; the driving motor is arranged inside the motor accommodating groove; a driving belt pulley is welded to an outer wall of one end of an output shaft of thedriving motor; the support mechanism is arranged above the fixed plate; the driving mechanism is arranged in a gap between the support mechanism and the fixed plate; and the driving motor serves as the driving force of the driving mechanism. The method can be effectively suitable for the support work of trusses of different radians, is higher in practicability than a traditional truss support device, and can lock the horizontal position of a truss while supporting the truss in the vertical direction, so that the truss fixing safety is ensured effectively.
