The invention discloses a road taking industrial solid wastes as a material and a preparation method of an industrial solid waste material. The road comprises a pavement and a roadbed, wherein the pavement is formed by paving an iron tailing asphalt mixture layer, and the roadbed adopts a steel slag semi-rigid base layer. The road adopts industrial solid wastes such as high-silicon iron tailings,steel slag, lime, fly ash, waste asphalt, an alkaline activator, a composite regenerant and the like as raw materials, so that a large amount of industrial wastes can be consumed, the environmental pollution can be reduced, and wastes can be turned into wealth; and the problems of shortage of natural materials and the like are effectively solved. In addition, accumulation of a large amount of tailings can be effectively reduced, the supply problem of asphalt, natural stone and other raw materials is relieved, and meanwhile cost is saved.
