The manufacturing method comprises the steps that gusset plates of the multi-surface core joint chord member are independently manufactured and the gusset plates are assembled in an assembling welding mode, and specifically comprises the steps that the gusset plates are manufactured correspondingly; the gusset plates and plate ribs are welded in an assembled mode, specifically, upper horizontal plate units, vertical plate units and lower horizontal plate units are welded on the plate ribs in an assembled mode correspondingly; holes are drilled on the gusset plates, specifically, after the gusset plates and the plate ribs are welded in an assembled mode, bolt hole sets and positioning holes of the hole groups are drilled in pairs on the gusset plates; and assembly is carried out, specifically, the upper horizontal plate units and the vertical plate units form groove shapes, then the groove shapes and the lower horizontal plate units form box shapes, finally, secondary parts are sequentially assembled, and assembly welding is carried out with the holes as a benchmark during assembly. The manufacturing method of a multi-surface core joint chord member has the advantages that the mode that the holes are drilled in pairs after the gusset plates and the plate ribs are firstly welded in an assembled mode is adopted, so that the centrality and the position precision of the holes in the gusset plate are ensured, and during mounting, assembly welding is carried out with the holes as the benchmark to ensure the mounting accuracy.
