The invention provides an earth-retaining wall support structure and a support method thereof, which belong to the field of ear-retaining wall construction. The earth-retaining wall support structureis used for supporting an earth-retaining wall in an earth-retaining wall construction process, and comprises water release tubes and an operating frame, wherein multiple water release tubes which arehorizontally arranged in a spaced mode are embedded into the earth-retaining wall to form a water release row; the water release tubes communicate with the inner side and the outer side of the earth-retaining wall; and the operating frame is vertically arranged at the inner side of the earth-retaining wall, and is fixedly connected to the water release tubes. The earth-retaining wall support method is used for forming the earth-retaining wall support structure. The earth-retaining wall support structure and the support method solve the problems that connected wall parts are difficult to arrange, and materials are wasted, and realize the function of earth-retaining wall water release holes. The steel tube is common on the market and is easily purchased, and relatively old tube fittings canbe used, so that the cost is basically different from cost of designing the PVC tube, and therefore, economic benefits are better.
