To provide a support structure of earth-retaining wall which prevents falling of an earth-retaining wall efficiently, and which can secure the height of pit excavation large, and to provide a support method of earth-retaining wall.SOLUTION: A support structure for earth-retaining wall includes: a wale 2 provided on a side surface of an excavation region 21 side of an earth-retaining wall 20; a columnar body 5 raised at the excavation region 21; and a strut 3 arranged orthogonal to the wale 2, and for connecting the wale 2 and the columnar body 5. A ground anchor 7 is provided in the vicinity of the columnar body 5, and on a side surface opposing to the wale 2 of the columnar body 5, an anchor installation part 6 in which an anchor head of the ground anchor 7 is arranged is provided in a protrusive manner.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
