The invention discloses quick-setting spraying modified gypsum mortar which comprises the following raw materials in parts by mass: 240-260 parts of modified desulfurized gypsum, 4-7 parts of a gypsumretarder, 320-350 parts of quartz sand, 8-10 parts of latex powder, 2-4 parts of hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose ether, 1-2 parts of a water reducing agent and 1-2 parts of a defoaming agent. The quick-setting spraying modified gypsum mortar is good in adhesive property, the raw materials are natural components, and poor shrinkage performance is avoided after painting forming; the gypsum mortar has a micro-expansion function, fine cracks on the wall surface can be prevented, and hollowing and cracking are avoided after use; gypsum is used as a cementing material, the setting time period is short, the gypsum mortar can be completely set within 1-6 hours generally, and the construction period is shortened; and the material is suitable for a spraying construction process, the construction period quality can be effectively improved, the requirement for a lot of labor force during conventional mortar painting construction is avoided, and considerable economic benefits are achieved.
