High-aluminum-content magnesium aluminate spinel transparent ceramic powder and preparation method thereof
The invention discloses high-aluminum-content magnesium aluminate spinel transparent ceramic powder and a preparation method thereof. The molecular formula of the transparent ceramic powder is MgO.nAl2O3, n is larger than or equal to 2.33 and smaller than or equal to 3.22, and n is the molar ratio of Al2O3 to MgO. The preparation method comprises the following steps: 1) pretreating MgO powder andalpha-Al2O3 powder, then mixing, placing in a graphite mold, putting the mixture into a high-current reaction synthesis device, keeping the pressure of the inert gas not more than 0.05 MPa, applying alarge current of 12-15kA, heating to 1700-1900 DEG C at a heating rate of 100-500 DEG C/min, keeping the temperature for 5-30 minutes, cooling at a rate of 30-40 DEG C/min to obtain a blocky crude product, and carrying out post-treatment to obtain the transparent ceramic powder. The method is simple in process and high in synthesis efficiency, and the obtained transparent ceramic powder is high in purity, good in dispersity, uniform and fine in particle size and suitable for preparing transparent ceramic.
本发明公开了一种高铝含量镁铝尖晶石透明陶瓷粉体及其制备方法。该透明陶瓷粉体分子式为MgO·nAl2O3,其中2.33≤n≤3.22,n为Al2O3与MgO的摩尔比。其制备为:1)将MgO粉末和α‑Al2O3粉末预处理后混合,置于石墨模具中,再放置到大电流反应合成装置中,保持惰性气体压力不大于0.05MPa,施加大电流12~15kA,以100~500℃/min的升温速率加热到1700~1900℃,保温5~30min,以30~40℃/min速率冷却后,得块状粗品,后处理即得透明陶瓷粉体。该方法流程简单、合成效率高,所得透明陶瓷粉体纯度高、分散性好、粒径均匀细小,适用于制备透明陶瓷。
