The invention relates to pushing equipment and method for bridge erection pushing construction.The pushing device for bridge erection pushing construction comprises a bearing base, an arc-shaped supporting piece and a vertical jacking device, and the arc-shaped supporting piece is fixedly connected with a rotating shaft rotationally installed on the bearing base through a telescopic driving assembly; the end part of the rotating shaft is connected with a driving mechanism mounted on the bearing seat; the telescopic driving assembly comprises two oppositely-arranged first electric telescopic rods fixed to the rotating shaft and a telescopic rod assembly fixed to the arc-shaped supporting piece and connected with the first electric telescopic rods. The vertical jacking device and the first electric telescopic rod are arranged to control the arc-shaped supporting piece to move to alternately support the bridge to be jacked, when the arc-shaped supporting piece is supported on the bridge to be jacked, the driving mechanism controls the arc-shaped supporting piece to rotate, so that the bridge to be jacked generates relative displacement, and when the arc-shaped supporting piece pushesthe bridge to be jacked, tight contact with the bridge to be pushed is always kept.
