The reinforcing mesh binding tool is structurally characterized in that a plurality of notches are formed in each of the first flange, the second flange, the third flange and the fourth flange; the first flange comprises a first standard part and a first compensation part; the second flange comprises a second standard part and a second compensation part; the first compensation part and the second compensation part are arranged close to the fourth flange; and the distance between the notch, closest to the fourth flange, in the first compensation partand the fourth flange, and the distance between the notch, closest to the fourth flange, in the second compensation part and the fourth flange are equal to the size of a starting rib.
