The water-permeable and air-permeable microporous ceramic flowerpot is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 30.0-40.0 parts of kaolin, 4.5-6.5 parts of clay, 6.5-8.3 parts of diatomite, 3.8-6.8 parts of sand, 1.4-3.4 parts of zirconite micro powder,2.4-4.0 parts of vermiculite micro powder, 5.6-8.6 parts of nano aluminum oxide and 7.5-8.5 parts of chlorinated paraffin. According to the water-permeable and air-permeable microporous ceramic flowerpot prepared through the method, low-cost sand is added into the raw materials, the cost of the raw materials is reduced, and maximization of resource utilization is achieved; the zirconite micro powder is added, so that the mechanical strength and the comprehensive performance are enhanced; and the vermiculite micro powder is added, so that the water-permeable and air-permeable performance is improved, and the stability and the durability are enhanced.
